Airport

The airport closest to the conference is the new Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY).

Transportation

The Sheraton is a 36-minute drive from the New Orleans International Airport.

New Orleans Streetcar

Shuttle

Transportation to and from Sheraton is available through Airport Shuttle New Orleans or Super Shuttle. Estimated one-way fare is $24 per person.

Taxi

Estimated taxi fare is $36 (one way). Taxicab booths are located on the first level of the Terminal outside of Baggage Claim Belts 1 and 14.

Uber/Lyft

Uber and Lyft offer transportation services from the Airport. Passengers can meet their app-based ride service outside of the Ground Transportation Center located on the first floor of the Short-Term Parking Garage by crossing the pedestrian crosswalk located outside of Baggage Claim 6.

By Car

From Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, Get on I-10 E in Metairie from Jerome S. Glazer Airport Access Rd for 9 min (4.0 mi). Follow I-10 E to US-90 E in New Orleans. Take exit 13B – A from US-90 BUS W for 11 min (10.6 mi). Drive to Canal St for 8 min (1.3 mi). Merge onto US-90 E for 0.4 mi. Continue straight onto S Claiborne Ave for 0.2 mi. Turn right onto Canal St for 0.7 mi.

Parking

Overnight Parking Fee $35 plus tax. Valet parking is available.

Public Transportation

The Jefferson Transit Authority (JET) and the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) provide nine (9) daily departures from the airport to downtown New Orleans. Both utilize the bus stop located on the outer lanes of the second floor, outside the Concourse C Lobby Information Booth. 

The Airport-Downtown Express (E2) Bus operated by JET is $2.00. The fare boxes will accept $1, $5, $10, $20 dollar bills and all U.S. coins. The Airport-Downtown Express (E2) provides service from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in Kenner, down Airline Drive into New Orleans, which takes approximately fifty (50) minutes.
