About Robert Wolkow
Robert Wolkow is a Physics Professor and iCORE Chair at the University of Alberta, Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, Fellow of the American Physical Society and CTO of Quantum Silicon Inc. He received his BSc from Waterloo, his PhD from Toronto and did postdoctoral work at the IBM TJ Watson Research Centre before becoming a staff scientist at Bell Laboratories. His awards include: IBM Outstanding Achievement, NRC Outstanding achievement (2x), Royal Society of Canada Rutherford Memorial Medal, ASTech Outstanding Leadership in technology, Alberta Innovation award (5x) and the International AVS Nanotechnology award for “Atomically Precise Manufacturing”.
